About the Artist

Delysia Cole is a luxury bridal and beauty artist whose artistic vision, dedication, and knowledge make her a dream artist for her clients. With over a decade of experience, Delysia has honed her craft to specialize in creating timeless, elegant looks for her brides on their special day and crafting signature looks for her corporate and beauty clients. 

During her years in college at Virginia State University, she joined Sankofa Dance Theatre, where she discovered her love of makeup. Designing looks for her Sankofa sisters and constantly researching and perfecting her craft, Delysia found her passion and happiness in makeup. Her early career was marked by collaborations with local fashions shows, photoshoots, weddings, and working on local T.V. & Film sets. She even for a time found herself under the tutelage of renown artists Ngozi Olandu Young and Jamaya Moore. She is an advocate for diversity and inclusion within the beauty industry. Her future plans include hosting workshops and mentorship programs for aspiring makeup artists. Her efforts will be aimed at creating more opportunities and representation for underrepresented groups. 

Delysia’s unique approach to makeup artistry combines classical techniques with a deep understanding of modern trends, ensuring that each person looks and feels their best. Her style focuses on attention to detail and ability to enhance natural beauty. Although the COVID-19 pandemic presented unprecedented challenges in the beauty industry, Delysia pivoted by furthering her education through virtual MUA masterclasses and workshops in order to stay abreast of the latest trends and techniques.

In 2024 Delysia is proudly relaunching her business, bringing fresh energy and innovative ideas to her services. She is introducing a new line of bridal and beauty packages that can be personalized to meet the diverse needs of her clients. Emphasizing health and safety, Delysia ensures that all makeup applications adhere to the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Today, Delysia continues to elevate the makeup experience with her signature touch of luxury and grace. Her journey is a testament to resilience, creativity, and the power of reinvention.
